Ministry of Sound Ticket Giveaway to Raise Money for Teenage Cancer Trust

U.K. singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer Example, who throws down and produces everything from garage to trance to electro, will be performing at the Royal Albert Hall in London on March 30th in partnership with the Teenage Cancer Trust. Example has been an ambassador for TCT since last June. Ministry of Sound, Example’s former label, is giving away over 50 pairs of tickets to the show (find the link below!).

This isn’t world famous Ministry of Sound’s first event with Teenage Cancer Trust, though. This fall, the label and club teamed up with TCT, making them their first official charity partner. Their goal is to raise over 50,000 pounds over the course of a year. On club nights entitled “Our House is Your House,” Ministry of Sound raises money for the charity through text donations, VIP auctions, meet and greets, as well as the payments for coat check and guest list donations. According to the Teenage Cancer Trust website, Jane Ashton, Music Events Manager for Teenage Cancer Trust said:

“This is Teenage Cancer Trust’s first ever dance music partnership and it’s a great fit. Not only is music a massive part of teenagers’ lives, but it’s at the heart of our work too. Teenage Cancer Trust brings young people with cancer together so they can support each other and our specialist units can become a home from home for these vulnerable young cancer patients. Our House Is Your House is a lovely interpretation of the work we do. Ministry of Sound’s support will help us continue our vital work making sure young cancer patients are treated as young people first, cancer patients second.”

The first Our House is Your House night techno kings Defected in the House headlined, and MoS raised over 3,470 pounds! Their second show with Nicky Romero was also a sell-out, and we’re looking forward to seeing MoS reach their goal with some amazing artists this year!
