The iconic London club Ministry of Sound, fought for its right to party and won. The club’s future was threatened by a new 41-story apartment unity being built only a few feet from the club’s front door.
Owners figured the inevitable noise complaints would eventually lead to a shutdown, but now both parties have signed a Deed of Easement.
“Ministry of Sound can continue to make the current levels of noise without fear of complaint from future residents of the development.” (Resident Advisor)
The agreement is just in time for the opening parties scheduled for next weekend, January 24th and 25th.
On Friday night, Anjunabeats will be taking over as Super8 & Tab, Jaytech and many more are scheduled to hit the decks. The Saturday Sessions features headliner Danny Avila with Third Party and resident DJ, Patrick Hagenaar as support.
Attendees will have the first glimpse at the all new look Courtyard and upgraded VIP suite equipped with an exclusive viewing gallery and two new balconies overlooking the 103 bar and The Box. The renovations also included an upgrade to the club’s soundsystem.
