Inside My Head is the first single teaser from their soon to be released EP (available 2/11). If this track is any reflection of the entire work, expect an ominous portrait of melancholic dub and a seemingly tangible approach to evoked emotion. The addition of the London based lyricist Ghetts’ was purposeful. Ghetts’ contributed an aspect of raw depth in a means that only a true lyricist could. It’s clear Modestep put this together from the heart and if the EP falls under the same implication, this US Tour is going to be something special. *Also note the Dexter sample*
Modestep is gearing up for a massive Spring. Following the release of their ‘Inside My Head’ EP next Monday, February 11th, the group takes center stage in Miami for Ultra Music Festival before embarking on their first ever North American Tour (Shoutout to Steez Promo for making my dream a reality by hosting 5 stops throughout the Northeast including my hometown of Richmond, Va).
