Majestic Cover of Coldplay’s ‘Paradise’ From Modestep (Free Download)

I’m still kicking myself in the ass for passing on Modestep at Starscape. Four men from the UK who provide a unique ripple in the landscape of electronic dance music have quickly become one of my top 5 favorite acts. Vocalist Josh Modestep shines in just about everything they put together, but this cover of Coldplay’s Paradise might elicit his god given talent more than any other past work. We’ve seen Paradise transition into edm waters with massive edits from artists, specifically Avicii’s, which I witnessed for one spine tingling moment last NYE.

This kind of release speaks volumes to Modestep’s value as true musicians. Delicately crafted perfection and just the right amount of bass without compromising the original. On most occasions I would shun a full cover of such a timeless track, however I welcome this with arms wide open. Thank you Modestep, just beautiful.
