Monstercat has once again released a plethora of music to the masses with “Monstercat 017 – Ascension.” Before we get into it, let’s remember what happened with “Monstercat 016 – Expedition.” The Monstercat team used a series of incredible online marketing tools to increase the albums virality. The strategy resulted in the album holding the #2 spot on iTunes Dance Chart, staying in the top 5 for an ever longer period.

Although Monstercat didn’t go with the same marketing plan with “Ascension,” the quality in the music is still abundantly there.
