Monstercat Leads Artists to a Frontier, Encourages Creative Freedom

With the release of its third installment, Frontier 018, Monstercat celebrates the ability to express creativity within artists and the connectivity between other artists and listeners. The Monstercat Manifesto was released with Frontier 018 to encourage the evolution of how the music industry should become. More often than not, the scene is becoming individualized and cut throat. Monstercat is discouraging artists and labels from their excessive limitations that are being enforced by lawmakers and copyright issues. Monstercat wants everyone to know that they are on the brink of shifting current industry business models to tailor to those who think music should be shared.

Monstercat houses a dozen great artists including Rogue, Haywyre, and early Krewella. These artists all came together to form a monster mix that celebrates the integration that music should someday become. Labels like Monstercat will pave the way for the music industry to become a community, thus creating better relationships and collaborations. Monstercat expresses that, “as a label that fears no boundaries, the edge of Monstercat ‘s frontier becomes infinite.” Hopefully Monstercat will inspire other labels and artists to shift their gears towards becoming a stronger music community as opposed to selfishly staying individualized.
