On Saturday June 8th and Sunday June 9th, Steez Promo will change the demographic of electronic dance music and festival nature altogether in the mid-atlantic by presenting Moonrise Festival. Not far from the booming edm market in DC and nestled within the rooted elder-scene of Baltimore, our nation’s newest 2-day premiere festival will be born.
The first year of Moonrise offers headliner Pretty Lights, alongside extreme wobble technicians like Datsik, Destriod, Doctor P, Excision, and Flux Pavilion. You’ll also get a healthy dose of electro through Torro Torro and young producer Porter Robinson, as well as a hint of trance from Gareth Emery and Paul van Dyk.
Also, If you enjoy trap – you’re in luck, M.R.F. has got you covered with artists like ETC!ETC!, Heroes X Villains, and Flosstradamus. The names I just mentioned are just a small portion of the phase one bill. For the full listing check out the flier above – I don’t know how much better it can get. Aside from the list of brilliant talent, I’m pumped for the Moombahton Massive and Drum N Bass stages.

Event is all ages. Gates will open each day at 11:00 am EST and close at 11:00 pm EST. Tickets are available now at moonrisefestival.com. GA passes are currently $125 and can be found here. VIP tickets start at $199 and can be found here. VIP amenities include exclusive access to multiple VIP viewing areas, exclusive top shelf cash bar in each viewing area, exclusive air-conditioned restrooms, festival t-shirt, and VIP parking (not included in ticket price).
