After building hype to what felt like unbearable levels, Steez Promo has finally brought us the much-anticipated Phase 2 line-up announcement for Moonrise Festival. The two-day, 11:00 am-11:00 pm festival is set to take place at Sun Park in Baltimore, MD, and the lineup already featured names like Pretty Lights, Paul van Dyk, STS9, Flux Pavilion, Destroid and Flosstradamus.
But from the looks of Phase 2, Steez has fully embraced the age-old saying “go big or go home“. Without further ado, here’s the full list of Phase 2 additions to Moonrise Festival.
Moonrise Festival Official Phase Two Lineup
Snoop Dogg, Borgore, Crookers, Eric Prydz, Krewella, Nero (DJ Set), Congorock, Craze, Designer Drugs, Des McMahon, emancipator, Eptic, Feenix Pawl, Icicle, Mayhem, Original Sin, Sabo, Sidney Samson, Skism, Xilent.
Beyond the obvious – the motherf**king Doggfather, c’mon – there are several other big additions I feel deserve special mention. Trip-hop virtuosos Emancipator – who put on one of the best sets I’ve ever seen at Camp Bisco last summer – and undervalued dubstepper Eptic – check out this remix of Excision & DatsiK’s ‘8-Bit Superhero’ – pop out first.
From there, it all depends on what genre you’re into. Enjoy that “dirty filthy grimy” dubstep everyone always seems to be talking about? Borgore, Krewella, and Nero can probably satisfy your craving. Maybe you’re of the drum ‘n’ bass persuasion? Acts like Original Sin and Mayhem join Phase 1 artists like Dieselboy, Smooth and Matrix & Futurebound to round out the DnB stage in style. And maybe you like electro-house – seriously, who doesn’t? Crookers, Congorock, Designer Drugs and Des McMahon should please your 128 BPM-hungry ears.
A Phase 3 – comprised of local/regional talent – as well as single day General Admission and VIP tickets announcement will come within the next few weeks. For now, you can grab tickets to Moonrise Festival here – get them quick because they will go up in price!
