Consisting of artists and friends, Denver-based MorFlo Records is a grassroots collective of beat-driven flow catalysts. Last year, the group revealed its first collaborative body of work, a high energy 22-track compilation that hosted 26 artists: Alchemy. This past winter, the MorFlo family were sitting at the dinner table and another idea was born: Dreamscape.
In the initial conceptualization, Dreamscape was intended to provide a contrasting follow up to Alchemy. Featuring Mersiv, Patches., Laika Beats, IZZI, Space Wizard, and many more, Dreamscape transports listeners from subconscious states into ethereal bass-fueled sonics. While the compilation takes on dreamy and fluid inspirations, it is not deprived of glitchy, liquid, and weird wonky bass soundscapes we all know and love.
Dreamscape lives as evidence for the ability of thoughts and dreams to be made manifest in reality. For the first two days of release, all Bandcamp sales will be donated to Equal Justice Initiative and Common Ground Foundation. Listen to Dreamscape on all streaming platforms here.
