Atlanta has really grown in the festival circuit, with each lineup the city hosts encompassing both well known artists and a diverse fan base. If there is one thing that comes to mind when you think of this city, it’s always our huge passion for music. The Southeast mecca kicked off the summer with very successful weekends of Shaky Knees, Shaky Beats, and the Jazz Festival. This coming September is about to be the best month for music addicts in the ATL, with Imagine dropping a killer fifth year anniversary lineup and now Music Midtown bringing it in with some of the biggest names topping the charts at the moment.
Set in the sprawling green hills of Atlanta’s most beloved park, Piedmont, Music Midtown is back with another impressive artist setup. The lineup stretches across many genres, having something for everyone to get down to. The headlining acts include music moguls Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Imagine Dragons, and Fall Out Boy. As if that wasn’t enough to get you to immediately buy your ticket, some other incredible artists set to rock the park are Khalid, Foster the People, Portugal. The Man, and Janelle Monáe.
