Born as a true passion project, UK duo My Friend hurtled onto the scene when their unsigned, unreleased tracks debuted on Danny Howard’s Future Fire as ones to watch in 2018. Drawing inspiration from the juxtaposition of euphoric melodies and a driving depth, their authentic sound blurs the lines of house, techno and progressive. Out now via Fly Boy Records is the duo’s first EP My Heart Burns There Too. The EP consists of two tracks, “My Heart Burns There Too” and “Solace”.
While “Solace” has a light vibe and a warm drum, making it ideal for both parties and lazy weekends, the title track showcases the artists’ tone, opening with a spark that will capture your attention and turn the track into club material. Featuring these two opposing but harmoniously produced tracks the EP stands evidence to the fact that we have much more to see and hear from this upcoming duo.
