The Windy City may be known as the birthplace of house music, but it’s getting a dose of bass this Halloween with the debut of Necropolis Music Festival. The two-day Halloween event will take place at Northerly Island in Chicago on October 29-30, delivering some of dance music’s biggest acts including Alison Wonderland and Excision.
Nothing says Halloween like heavy bass music and Necropolis has all of the bass sub-genres covered and ready to rattle the two tented stages. Joining the star-studded phase one lineup, DJ Diesel aka SHAQ, Adventure Club, Getter, Kayzo, ARMNHMR, Reaper, Fairlane, Layz, JOYRYDE, Dimension, Gramatik, Lucii, Blanke, Wreckno, a b2b set from 1991 and Culture Shock, and many more to be announced soon.
Necropolis will be led by the team behind Auris Presents, the organizers of two successful festivals, ARC Music Festival and Heatwave Music Festival, as well as Chicago’s live music venues, RADIUS, Concord Music Hall, PRYSM, and more.
