Hot on the heels of his EP for ProgRAM, Need For Mirrors has been snapped up by its sister platform Ram Records for a two-track release. Sounding utterly captivating are both “Arp Tune” and “Reverie,” which show off different ends of the D&B spectrum.
“Arp Tune” kicks off proceedings with a hypnotic lead piano line dripping in reverb, and a catchy agreggated synth riff helping to build one of 2019’s most impressive tracks so far. On the other hand is “Reverie,” a subtle but delicate cut that melds liquid vibes with an almost movie score sound – the strings give it a charm and make it an ideal accompaniment to “Arp Tune.”
