The New York Times Names TomorrowWorld One of Their Essential Summer Festivals

Since its inception in 2013, TomorrowWorld has grown to become one of electronic music’s premier music festivals. Much like its sister festival in Belgium, Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld’s onus lies on the creating a magical experience, as it brings together elite musical talent with art installations, wandering performers, activities, and much more spread amongst the lush festival grounds of Chattahoochee Hills. With headliners like Hardwell, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, and Jamie Jones announced so far for the 2015 run of TomorrowWorld, it’s clear why the ID&T festival is one of the best in the world.

For those that are still wavering on whether or not to make the trek down to Georgia for TomorrowWorld, The New York Times has named TomorrowWorld one of their essential summer festivals of 2015. Citing TomorrowWorld’s 21+ age restriction, in addition to its impressive stage curators, including Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, the future classic record label, amongst many others, and innovative stage design, there’s no doubt that The New York Times has hit the nail on the head with its description of TomorrowWorld.

Decadent raves are now 10-a-penny in America, and so are their drawbacks: unyielding and assaultive decibel levels, dire grounds stacked ankle-deep in garbage. This upstart festival, expanded from its Belgian origins and now in its third year, has leapt up the ranks of electronic dance music soirees for its upscaling of the standard dance festival experience; it recruits thoughtful and nuanced dance authorities to host its stages (this year, PETE TONG and HARDWELL lead the pack), decamps to the lush and spacious grounds of Chattahoochee Hills, cleans its facilities with unusual aplomb and restricts its attendee age to 21 and older to weed out some of the more overeager debauchery.
