MTV News caught up with Nicky Romero before his set at Tomorrowland 2013 where he talked about his upcoming release with Steve Angello and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and his collaboration with Rihanna. What will be interesting to see is whether his track with Rihanna will launch his career to the level of superstardom the same way Calvin Harris’ “We Found Love” did.
That said, it will take a lot to beat the 8.1 million copies of “We Found Love” that have been sold worldwide making it one of the best selling singles of all time. Maybe we’ll see that number beaten by Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” which seems to be on its way.
