This past Monday, Nicole Maudaber will be releasing her remix of the “Muzik Xpress” house classic track From Skint Records for the 20th anniversary of the original. The song was actually produced in 2008.

I was just starting to produce, dabble and discover this world. I was approached by the label manager back then, I knew him from London and he played at my parties a few times. I delivered the mix, even got paid for it but it never saw the light, maybe because my name didn’t mean much back then. They heard it recently by mistake on a random hard drive they found at the Skint Office, and I’m very pleased it will finally get released.
Moudaber’s remix brings the classic to the cutting edge, with bumpingly soulful synths and the classic “Muzik!” vocal bite that helped make the original a piece of House music history. The remix is being released on Beatport alongside the 1992 original as well as the 2012 Eats Everything remix. For a modest $6.99, you can have this reworked masterpiece in its entirety.
