If you’ve been keeping up with Raver Rafting’s TechThisOut series, then you may have heard us mention the release of Nicole Moudaber’s latest EP, Breed. Subsequently, the Lebanese techno goddess has also released an accompanying music video to the delightfully dark piece, “Someone Like You.” It’s a fantastic black and white avant-garde feature, which seamlessly blends art, high fashion, and shadowy techno tones together into one sophisticated package.
Once the drums hit and Skin’s sensual voice permeates through the darkness, we’re subjected to mind altering animations like the ones presented in classic horror films. There’s even a few times where we see Skin’s face dauntingly morph into Nicole’s, making us question the very fabric of our reality. It’s a beautifully composed song, and posh music video, which perfectly complement each other in terms of artistic aesthetic.
