The violin and piano work here really takes this tune to the next level. The trio of Nik Ernst, Nick Peters and Tammy Infusino is something that has not impacted me before, but I’m glad it did. There’s few house songs that can take you on an almost spiritual journey when the song’s music “engine” is at it’s peak but “Give Me Back Tonight (feat. Tammy Infusino)” has that magical element embedded well within it.
Tipsy Tortoise rose through the ranks during the peak of the tropical house movement, but have become one of the most long-standing, influential chill house tastemakers in the niche. ” Give Me Back Tonight (feat. Tammy Infusino)” is an excellent addition to the portfolio.
