Nikless & Before We Go Release “Don’t Wanna Let It Go”

Swiss producers Nikless ( Roman Gilgen) and Before We Go (Maury Pozzi) recently released their second collaboration “Don’t Wanna Let It Go,” featuring singer Maurice. Back in October, the artists entered the top three spot on Spotify’s Swiss Viral Chart with “Shattered Dreams” – a cover of Johnny Hates’ Jazz hit – which garnered over half a million streams.

Maury has been in the music game for a while, appearing as a vocalist on hits such as DJ Antoine’s “Ma Cherie” and Roger Martin’s “Waterfalls.” Meanwhile, Roman is an up-and-coming producer from Switzerland who placed first in the Avicii & Otto Knows “Back Where I Belong” remix competition, and has been in the spotlight ever since.

Now, the two have returned with an uplifting song full of energy and a drop of melancholy, strung along by Maurice’s melodic vocals – a recipe which makes for a great late-winter song. The lyrics tell the story of a couple looking for a way to save what’s left of their relationship and, although they make for a rather low-spirit subject, the track keeps a fresh perspective and a soothing vibe. Shot by production crew Bad Habit Collective, the story is brought to life in its catchy music video as it follows the journey of a couple throughout the Moroccan Desert.
