New York-based groups No Wyld and MEMBA have been riding on a whirlwind lately, with recently released singles streaming in the millions. Now, these talents have joined forces to produce their latest hit single “Off For The Night.”
The writer, vocalist, and producer trio that makes up No Wyld is an impressive bunch. Hailing from New Zealand, Mo Kheir, Brandon Black, Joe Pascoe have undoubtedly succeeded in their pursuit to create what they call a “genre-less sound,” made up of notes from hip hop, pop, alternative and electronic music, which has been featured in advertisements for the world’s most famous companies like Apple, Sony, FIFA, Samsung, McDonalds, HBO, MTV, and NBC’s Olympic coverage. Most recently, you’ll know their releases “Let Me Know'” and “Grown Up,”which have collectively surpassed well over 8 million streams. Meanwhile, Ishaan Chaudhary and Will Curry, who make up the rising duo MEMBA, are just coming off of their massive collaboration with Titus and GIIA, “Pull Up,” that could be heard playing on anywhere from BBC Radio to Trap Nation.
Coupling No Wyld’s mastered production skills with MEMBA’s exotic and soulful trap sounds, “Off For The Night” equally offers relaxing and contemplative feels. It’s got a smooth, rhythmic flow, strung along by vocals pleading for a night of escapism adnw ondering what went wrong. Give it a listen and you’ll surely be turning off for the night with this one.
