West Coast DJ/Producer NZN is here to bring us his latest bass house hit “Rave No More.” The arrangement, energy, and creative musicality of the track puts him as one of my favorite bass house producers right now. The track starts off with a groovy yet hard intro and dives into a breakdown that makes any listener anticipate the drop – and NZN delivers. The fast paced energetic track resembles his open format DJ style to a T. Having played for a sold out show at the Hollywood Roosevelt for NYE 2017 he certainly knows what it takes to bring out the energy.
NZN stands for Noi Z Niehgbor, which was the name given to him after a neighbor called the cops on him during a house party he was throwing and eventually the name stuck around and he embraced it. NZN or Emmanual Vazquez was not always a producer, however. In high school he started to dabble around using the DAW FL Studio and eventually learned the craft and ended up at Icon Collective, which is a revered music production academy specializing in electronic dance music. After graduating in 2014 he decided to end his career as an electrical engineer to continue down his musical career path. Having the drive and energy transfer into his music it’s safe to say that “Rave No More” brings the heat and we can’t wait to see what comes next for Noi Z Neighbor.
