Rising to fame after being hailed by BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac, the Argentinian artist Offaiah has returned with his second funky track ‘Run’. In this oracular and somewhat, mysterious piece, it’s evident that Offaiah takes inspiration from classical music, which is seen with the additions of the flute and piano melodies. Alongside this, the rhythm seems as if it has evolved from Basement Jaxx’s early work and the vocals surely complement this.
Having said that, ‘Run’ will reach the heights of offaiah’s first track ‘Trouble’ that has been remixed by the likes of 1991, Jengi Beats and Chocolate Puma. This single has shown its strength and resilience through the iconic vocals and having the backing from the BBC will ensure that he will succeed and start playing festivals to showcase his feel-good music.
