Raising the standards with his newest bit of work this week is OIJ, who is currently based in the Netherlands. His single “Only One” has just been released via Epic Amsterdam (Sony Music Netherlands) and is all kinds of wonderful.
Known for his melodic, electronic sounds, “Only One” bridges the gap between these and hip hop, with rap artist Maydien being introduced to proceedings and offering some rugged bars. The pairing works incredibly well, and showcases OIJ’s creativity in production – a real treat for the ears.
