Give, give, give. This seems to be the mantra for Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival as they push the envelope with amazing artist announcements and an additional 4th day to party to your heart’s content. And now, for those who like to do that partying from dusk ’til dawn, they are presenting to you: Jungle 51. Set apart from it’s main stage counterpart, will be a lush tropical environment with one of a kind stage design from renowned set designer Daniel Brodie (Bonnaroo and “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat”) and lighting from Max Mackintosh, who’s had a numerous amounts of worldwide installations.
Curated by Sheik N’ Beik, a music and lifestyle collective that has brought together some of the best underground house and techno events NYC has ever seen.
Bringing you sounds from the techno and house underground with Legacy Detroit, a duo comprised of Damian Lazarus and John Acquaviva performing under this new creation for the first time; Marcel Fengler and Virginia – both residents at Berghain, Berlin’s temple of techno. Also making his U.S. debut, Russian house master Anton Zap, among many others. If you’re an underground techno and house head, your wish has been granted with Jungle 51. Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is presented by Soundslinger, LLC, an independent company founded by Steve Sybesma formerly of concert pioneer Sunshine Promotions, Paul Peck formerly of Superfly, and a team of all-star producers who have presented other major festivals and countless concerts around the globe.
