Olin Batista has been on the quiet side lately, but after a few months of keeping us waiting he’s back with a new release on Flamingo Recordings. Olin is a millennial who showcases his appreciation for his family, giving his beautiful mother a tribute with his popular release “Luma” on Sosumi Records. With a smashing 11,000 downloads in under 48 hours, the groovy track embodied with the spirit of Rio Carnival was a huge hit.
Olin is now here to present “Amazon 63”, a French house inspired tune which was named after the boat his father Eike sailed over two decades ago. You can expect a sophisticated and sexy house track, demonstrating his abilities as an artist to adapt to his audience and produce a variety of sounds. Actually clips from the Superboat World Championship, the race which his father sailed in, were incorporated to personalize this record further. We can only hope to hear more from this young, talented producer, whether they are tributes or not.
