If you’ve never experienced Oliver’s “Mechanical EP,” do so immediately, it’s one of the best disco albums of 2013 and a personal journey you won’t soon forget. With that said, Values, Tchami, Nom De Strip, and Dillon Francis transform these funky disco sounds into abstract, colorful and moving remixes.
Each remix carries it’s own distinct style and atmosphere, but the most appealing is the Values remix; it still retains the nostalgic emotion of the “Mechanical” single but adds an innovative pop-electro texture to the original.
