Cody Lee, better known as OMNOM, has been continually displaying why he is a forced to be reckoned with in the house scene. Based in San Francisco, he first attracted the attention of Walker & Royce with his track “Fo Free”. Since then, the only way has been up for this rising star. He just wrapped up a heavy hitting performance at Dirtybird Campout West, and is gearing up for another big one at HARD’s Day of the Dead. Released just yesterday comes another massive house tune with fellow producer Zendlo, “Methane”. Put on your house shoes and prepare to dance because “Methane” features an infectious bassline and unique vocals that will have you breaking out those gnarly dance moves. Here’s what OMNOM had to say about the track.
As a DJ, sometimes you need to play a track with bass fat enough to kick the crowd in their chest… but ‘Methane’ is the track you play when you need to kick them in their genitals. The end result of relentless scientific research and several trips to Del Taco, this one is guaranteed to make the floor shake and the eyes wiggle no matter where it’s played. – OMNOM
The track has already garnered the support of artists such as Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Ardalan, and Sage Armstrong. Stay tuned for more news on OMNOM, we can be sure that it won’t be long before we hear from him again.
