Hello, 2018! New year, new dark and delicious beats we’re going to delve right into. To start off with a bang, we’ve got Eats Everything’s massive track “South of West Country,” followed by a serious stomper from Le Fleur and a powerful pick from Filterheadz. Topping off volume 14 of “On Tuesday’s, We Techno” is Coyu’s imprint Suara bringing their 10-year anniversary various artists album. Although we’ve only just begun the new year, we’ve already been given a handful of stellar selections. There are no doubts in our minds that 2018 is going to be a stand-out year for techno and the underground. Now, headphones on. Ready, set, spiral.
Eats Everything – South of West Country
Out now on Second State, “South of West Country” was made to be played in a mega-structure. Its release comes as part of the labels SUM series third installment, featuring 10 tracks from others like Mark Reeves and Pan Pot.

Filterheadz – Evolve

La Fleur – Exhaust

Suara – [SCOM029] VVAA – Dia Cero
2018 sees Coyu’s imprint Suara turn 10 years old. A decade’s work has accummulated to this (for more reasons than one): the epic Día Cero, a Various Artists album made up of 13 original tracks where Coyu and his label team ally themselves with the most underground sounds of the genre.
In the words of Coyu: “We feel it is the perfect moment to leave the past behind and embrace the future. We start our celebrations with Día Cero, a release where we emphasize in techno and underground. The culmination of our musical bet for upcoming sounds. It’s time to stop being a label that only releases the music that works in the charts, and to really start defining the music that will hit the dancefloors in the near future.”
Two of our favorites you’ll want to check out pronto are Flug’s “Ego Games” and Yan Cook’s “Nix.”
