On Tuesdays We Techno, Volume 32: Ellen Allien, Rinzen, Harvey McKay and More

This week’s round up of techno selects is sharp, vivacious, and tremendously fierce. In other words, not a single second of easy listening is in sight.

We begin our spiral down the rabbit hole with Dutchman Ramon Tapia’s “Bang on the Box,” via Kneaded Pain. This beaut offers immediate pounding hits and stinging percussion that will put your body right in its place for the trip ahead. Following in a similar suit is Ellen Allien with “Take A Stand.” As the newest addition to Nonplus Records’ roster, this hypnotic track marks the German native’s first solo release outside of her BPitch label.

The vibes are then turned up a few notches as we soar across the atmosphere with Marco Faraone’s “Never Forget.” Leading us up to an epic build are mutating rhythmic synths harking “back to the good olde days of BXR and the limitless talent of the Italian techno scene in the late 90s.” With power and massive energy, it drives us straight onto the “Other Side of the Void” from Harvey McKay on Suara. Here we have another impeccably crafted original from one of our favorite industry trailblazers.

After endless amounts of vivid and energetic feels, we level out with the impressive track “Temple,” a bone-chilling experience from rising Los Angeles-based producer Rinzen.
