After a long Labor Day weekend, there’s nothing in this world that will bring your dark soul back to life then some high energy techno. Each of the new tracks we’ve selected this week pack a heavy punch and will undoubtedly get your body and brain back into gear. On the lineup, you can expect to hear massive new tracks from Darius Syrossian, Ian O’Donovan, Amelie Lens, Sian, and Wehbba. Now, turn off and turn on the techno.
Darius Syrossian – Made For Manchester
Leeds legend Darius Syrossian has cooked up a massive mix on his recent Made for Manchester EP. This title-track is a high-energy, main room banger that’s packed with incredibly satisfying drops and will make your body explode on the dance floor. At the center of this superb tune lies his undeniable love for the city of- you guessed it- Manchester. In his own words, Syrossian explains, “I was a weekly resident in Manchester from 2008 to 2015 and the city means the world to me as I built a strong connection with the crowd there. I don’t get to play the city as often as I’d like now due to my touring schedule, so I wanted to make a track for the city, one that I know has my signature sound but also an emotive feel to show home much love I have for Manchester”. Out now on We Are The Brave, label head Alan Fitzpatrick offers up his skills to create a killer remix boosted by old-school rave feels.

Ian O’Donovan – Voodoo Doll
Irish-based DJ and producer Ian O’Donovan recently released his latest 3-track Voodoo Doll EP, out now on Intec Digital. Our favorite mix comes in the form of the title-track. It opens up with a surprising tribal beat, wasting no time to delve into heavy bass on the build-ups before dropping some solid breakdowns. It’s proper techno meets jungle fever.

Amelie Lens – In Silence
Drumcode’s 6th installment of its acclaimed A-Side Series offers a stellar original mix from newcomer Amelie Lens. This Antwerp-based DJ is quickly becoming a known name in the underground since officially getting the approval from the heavy hitter duo, Pan Pot. Now, she joins Drumcode to release her latest fire mix with “In Silence.” The track is booming with a hard-stabbing beat that’s dark, hypnotic, and very addicting – a true stand-out track in a room full of veterans.

Sian – Telepathy
Octopus Recordings founder, DJ and producer, Sian, brings forth to his label the solid after-hours hit “Telepathy.” It’s part of his latest two-track Raygun Gothic EP and it’s a heavy hitter in every sense of the phrase. The track builds up with ominous vocal stabs calling out “Acid House,” that’s got both groovy and robotic feels, before hitting you with hard-pulsating punches back to back to back.

Wehbba – Fake
Another winner from Drumcode’s 6th installment of its A-Side Series is DJ and producer Wehbba’s massive track “Fake.” If you’ve listened to any Adam Beyer sets this year then you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about, as the label head has been going hard with this one and building up serious tension among fans, who’ve been anxiously anticipating its release. Here, Wehbba brings the Barcelona heat to a dark techno beat that will send your body into high-speed convulsions.
