The Bassnectar team sold out the Deltaplex last Halloween in record time for an amazing, once in a lifetime masquerade event in Grand Rapids, MI. This year, Bassnectar is returning bigger and better for two sold out nights on Halloween weekend at the Deltaplex with special guests Paper Diamond, Stööki Sound, OPIUO and Teklife (DJ Spinn & Taso) featuring The Era Footwork Crew. The team has also added a third night of music on Halloween night at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, IL. This all hallows eve spectacular will also include performances by G Jones and Teklife featuring The Era Footwork Crew. This three night extravaganza will be unforgettable and filled with nonstop bass music.
Bassnectar
The Bassnectar team hosted a masquerade last Halloween at the Deltaplex in Grand Rapids, and the venue was jam packed with bassheads from miles around who all joined together for a night of nonstop partying. Bassnectar Halloween events date back to 2008 at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC, a small venue with a capacity of a little over 1,000. This Halloween, he will be crushing the Peoria Civic Center, which has a capacity of over 11,000, and every seat and standing room will be filed with people who have all come together to enjoy the experience. The Bassnectar team has been working for almost a decade to bring their fans the most epic Halloween every year, and this year will be nothing short of that.
Paper Diamond
Paper Diamond is an electronic music producer who brings his audience an experience like no other. He uses an iPad during live performances to mix and create his music, and his trap/hip-hop vibe keeps his fans on their toes. He signed with Pretty Lights Music in 2010, and he has since then performed at festivals such as Coachella, Electric Forest, Lollapalooza, and more. He has headlined two tours and also performed at Bassnectar’s New Years Eve event in Birmingham, AL, and he will be a show you don’t want to miss at Bassnectar’s Halloween event this year.
Stööki Sound
Stööki Sound’s deep, vibrating wubs keep their audience guessing as they keep pushing limits in the electronic music world. DJ Lukey and Jelacee combine grimey beats and hip-hop tunes to create a unique sound of their own which has helped them climb up the electronic music ladder. They have serenaded crowds in China, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and more, traveling all over the world to spread their music to their fans. Their performance at Bassnectar’s Halloween extravaganza is going to be mesmerizing and intense, and it will keep the crowd on their feet.
OPIUO
OPIUO is a glitch, electronic DJ residing in Australia who has built his musical reputation on his outstanding combination of the funk and glitch genres. He brings together these two in an innovative way to fill his music with energy and light, and his fans adore it. He has traveled all over the world performing alongside acts such as MC Hammer and Bassnectar, and his last album mix was nominated for Best Dance /
Teklife (DJ Spinn & Taso) featuring The Era Footwork Crew
DJ Spinn began his music career producing and creating music at the age of 14. Spinn first started building his reputation in 1997 when he dj’ed for one of Chicago’s number 1 dance groups. He was booked for multiple gigs in Chicago that same year following the first gig, and that was the beginning of DJ Spinn. Taso joined Teklife in 2012 with a degree in audio engineering and instantly fit in. He is a multi-instrumentalist and has contributed on various collabs with numerous big names in the industry. These two will be performing with The Era Footwork Crew, a Chicago-based dance company, at Bassnectar’s Halloween event, and it will be a once in a lifetime performance.
G Jones
G Jones is an electronic music producer originally from California. His first mix, “New Beats 2012,” put him on the map and made his music skyrocket. He has since performed at festivals such as Shambhala, Lightning in a Bottle, Bass Center, Imagine, and more, playing alongside numerous headlining artists. Jones has made a name for himself over the last 4 years and will continue to rise, and you won’t want to miss him bringing the house down in Peoria on Halloween night.
