Echostage has quickly become the DMV’s premier venue, hosting some of the biggest artists in the industry every week since its grand opening in September of last year. Thanks large in part to the area’s biggest production company, Glow, the electronic music scene in our nation’s capital is absolutely exploding. To perform at any Glow event in DC would be a dream come true for many aspiring local DJs but to open for Porter Robinson at what has been touted by many as one of the best venues in the country is simply unfathomable.

For one lucky winner, this fantasy will become reality as Glow is offering this opportunity of a lifetime to anyone 18 and over with courage to enter. Start by recording the greatest 20 minute (or longer) mix of your life and uploading to either SoundCloud or YouTube. Then submit your entry on their website and follow up by spamming all social media with pleas for votes. The most popular entries will be narrowed down and the final verdict will come from the good people at Glow.
In addition to the exposure the winner gains from their set, they’ll also receive 3 event comps for friends, their name featured on the event flyer and a $100 bar tab (for those 21+ of course). Previous winners have gone on to play at many more Glow events, so this could very well be your foot in the door.
The submission period starts now and ends December 4th. The winner will be announced Thursday, December 5th.
