Opiuo, Shambhala Music Festival and Westwood Recordings are offering upcoming electronic music producers a wonderful opportunity in the form of a remix contest.
“Life ft. Gift of Gab & Syreneisscreamy” will be offered as a free download stem pack so producers the world over can deconstruct the tune to create their dopest remix. With a sonic cornucopia of prizes up for grabs, the contest ends July 1, 2015 with the winner and runner-up announced on July 15, 2015.
The waviest remix will bring one producer a UAD-2 QUAD Satellite Card (includes Analog Classic Bundle), IZOTOPE “Mix and Master Suite” (includes Ozone 6.0 and Alloy 2.0 plug-ins), a lifetime account with ToneDen Pro, an artist pass (with artist camping) to the 2015 Shambhala Music Festival and merchandise from Westwood, Shambhala and PK Sound. The winning producer will also earn a ton of exposure, with his or her remix being released and distributed worldwide by Westwood Recordings, and played exclusively by the Funk Hunters at Shambhala this August.
