Panorama Productions (Club Glow) will open Echostage, a new electronic dance music club, on September 22 with performances by Sander van Doorn and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Panorama Productions will be taking over the lease for the former D.C. Star located on 2135 Queens Chapel Road NE. While guests can expect initial renovations to include more finely tuned sound, a new stage and enhanced lighting effects, the real changes will not come until January
Co-owner Antonis Karagouris for the Washington Post,
“The idea is to create the biggest concert venue in the tri-state area. Something that will be used for amazing electronic music shows, but will be able to accommodate hip-hop, R&B and rock, as well.”
Panorama expects that Echostage will have the capacity for 5,000, giving it the potential to radically impact the promotion landscape in the DMV area.
