All has been strangely quiet on the Paper Diamond front for the past few months, and yesterday we were given the answer why. With the release of new track “All The Girls Beats” he dropped a tidbit of information, sharing that an EP is forthcoming. This is certainly big news, as there are few artists in the industry who are more well rounded and multi-genre’d than this guy. When you click play on one of Paper Diamond’s tracks you can expect anything from a face melting bass track, a trap banger, or a chilled out masterpiece.
With “All The Girls Beats” Paper Diamond takes an abrupt turn in recent productions and we couldn’t be happier. Old school samples are rampant throughout, and the track is filled with a hip-hop instrumental feel that is so different from the festival trap we’ve been forced to consume in recent times. Although it’s described as “a little beat that’s been living on my computer forever”, this track serves as a great appetizer of things to come for the EP and has me waiting on what he’ll throw us next.
