You would think that when something isn’t broken, you shouldn’t try to fix it, right? Patis Hiltons’s “Come Alive” features herself being ridiculously auto-tuned over a mediocre and unexcited dance track followed by a bass drop that is unrecognizable. “Come Alive” is a poorly produced song that won’t even win over her own fans. In an effort to try and out drag-queen herself, Paris features an over the top production that forces you to say, “WTF did I just watch?” It seems like Paris got her visual tips from EDC, but I’m thinking she may have taken it a little too far.
As she opens up her video, you may think that this isn’t too bad. You may also think this is a promo video for an EDM festival. Paris’ sun soaked locks, the whimsical approach, and featured pink tinted field remind us of the perfect EDC, so we want to watch more. Keep watching and you feel like you’ve just taken LSD from the stranger down the street that your mom always told you to stay away from. She is definitely taking the term ‘flower child’ to the next level with random clips of blooming flowers that just don’t make sense. Ok, ok so the Black Swan impersonation, cotton candy bed, and diamond encrusted diaper might seem pretty normal. But then, we see her cuddling with an unenthused unicorn underneath a rainbow. Where is the leprechaun because I feel like it’d be suiting in this situation. The worst part about this video is that she thinks this was a good idea. Paris believes that this is what is going to sell her album! And my vote for next year’s EDCLV headliner…Paris Hilton. Watch the video below to get a good laugh for today.
