Two experienced artists in their own right, Part Native and Pierce, join forces to make a trap-influenced single that heavily explores other territories within the genre, to say the least. A quick look at both acts’ channels and socials pages show dozens of releases, years of experience, and tens of thousands of plays and followers. What their new collaborative single “Venge” does different is it essentially pulls the rug out of the foreground sounds during the drop, thus placing the percussion and 808 front and center in the moment. Aside from this key highlight, a bundle of new school and old school hip-hop elements come to play that give it personality.
The single is flat-out fun and resonates quick, a common theme with tracks of both Part Native and Pierce.
