Landis has a super unique feel-good style with all the releases he works on. His latest, a remix of Party Favor’s “In My Head”, delivers on this while simultaneously complimenting the vocal of the original. Landis remixes typically include the bass elements of deep house and the percussion and tempo elements of tech house, while bending to the nature of the sound he is working with.
With “In My Head” he bends more toward the genre of pop, adding catchy elements from top to bottom – sound design, arrangement, theme – the overall experience is an attention grabber to say the least. Party Favor + Landis was a natural combination, one can only hope a similar type of collaboration with come from them in the near future.
