Party Favor is a master of making the right moves at the right time. His raw talent, great production principles, plus a nack for EDM culture and trend allow Party Favor to deliver what people want with a twist. With his Pop-Trap-House hybrid sound, PV has quickly climbed the ranks, becoming a well-known DJ in the L.A. scene and an internationally recognized up-and-comer. This year, everything is on the table, Party Favor plans to crank up the awesomeness with more fan love, new music, tour dates, and surprise giveaways.
Originally from Manhattan, Dylan Ragland was exposed to diversity and the fast-pace lifestyle at an early age. As he grew up, his music choice became as diverse as his upbringing, listening to everything from heavy metal to reggae and house. Ragland knew he wanted to be hands-on with music, but never clicked with a particular instrument. His admittance to Chapman University would soon expose him to a wider spectrum of the arts, providing Ragland with a technical base in film and music.
Fast forward to late 2012, Party Favor is garnering a significant fan base via the Festival Trap movement. Fans couldn’t get enough of the melodic hooks, catchy electro-rhythms, and colorful breaks PV blended into the percussion-heavy genre. By mid-2013, his ability to satisfy his fan-base, get people talking, and deliver fresh originals and remixes perpetuated his long-term growth. Release after release, Ragland increases his span of influence to greater volumes, 2014 is set to be the highest growth year yet.
Speaking of growth, Party Favor is currently on his longest tour to date, making stops in Seattle, Atlanta, New Orleans, and more. He’s been destroying the dance floor from coast to coast and now wants you to take part in the action. Ragland has been a long-time fan of the site, he setup a giveaway for his lower-Louisiana show to give back to the community! Check out the giveaway below.
