Patrice has been an icon in the music industry ever since he released his critically acclaimed Lions EP in 1999. The son of a Sierra Leonean father and a German mother, Patrice would go on to support Lauryn Hill shortly after his debut EP. This multi-talented musician can not only sing, but also write music and even direct music videos to his tracks. Fused in with his relaxing voice, his hit Sweggae genre will have you up and dancing in no time. Patrice will be coming to NYC to perform at the Brooklyn Bowl next Monday, a rare performance for this gifted reggae producer.
Patrice’s latest single, “Burning Bridges” came out just this week. The hit track was produced by France’s Picard Brothers who are known for their work on Major Lazer’s “Powerful”. Co-written by Diplo & MO, Burning Bridges is a call to rise up against evil and worldly oppressors. Through the music video directed by Patrice himself in Jamaica, we can see the joy and strength produced through dance. This hit single is the first off of a forthcoming album titled “Life’s Blood”. Patrice will be performing with Lady Moon and The Eclipse for this memorable performance. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here.
