German trance legend Paul Van Dyk is back with another original to kick this week into full swing. Not long ago we brought you his track “Touched By Heaven” that gave us a taste of some much needed old school trance. For the production of “Stronger Together”, PVD has teamed up with none other than rising star Pierre Pienaar to give us a collaboration that follows suit with PVD’s renowned style. Pienaar, a 33 year old South African native began producing at the age of 15 and has been climbing the ranks ever since.
The collaboration comes during a time of terror, social exclusion, political division, and climate dispute. The message sent out by Paul with this release is that music connects us all and is a driving force in peace and unity. We must set aside our differences to focus on the important issues plaguing the world. In 2006, Paul was awarded the Berlin Medal of Honor in recognition of his charity work involving underprivileged children in Germany. Charitable work has always been a staple in Paul’s life and this recent release attests to that fact.
The production of “Stronger Together” is a three and a half minute trance instrumental that is sure to land as a classic. Its fast paced production is all to reminiscent of the sound that PVD made his name on. The old school trance that can only be matched by artists such as Paul Oakenfold. If you’re sick of 2017 trance music then enjoy this blast from the past as you’ll rarely hear anything like it today.
