I must admit, my bias leans in favor of Pegboard Nerds, why? “Live For The Night (Pegboard Nerd Remix)” was the best remix of 2013! While “Bassline Kickin” showcases a completely different genre and theme, it proves that PNR’s talent and ingenuity remains consistent. Their latest single “Bassline Kickin” features serious “Middle Finger” style vibes in the intro and the following drop. The monotone melody and the in-your-face drum kit form a dark, powerful original that blows the lid off of any banger produced this year.
