Singapore-based maker Perk Pietrek is back with a wonderful but lethal banger, “Ivy” ft. Swan. The discharge falls off of his new Flowers EP, out October 11 on Quality Goods Records.
The introduction gives an entrancing air. As the drums drive things forward, a passionate prompting vocal loop, “we pushing that gas, we exploding quick,” acts as a serious party-starter.
The drops are a warped exhibit of how far bass can be taking, striking with substantial sound that is punctuated by it’s repetition.
The break pulls from EP’s tendency roused message, sharing the feeling of serenity and joy before the recognizable vocal return, delivering a certain self-assured full-circle aura.
