In conjunction with Philos Records’ artist T.Wilde’s ‘Through The Ways’ EP release this past week, the record label will be holding a release party on plug.dj Wednesday, September 4th from 7:30 PM to 11PM CST, with live sets from T.Wilde himself, along with Ageless, Artifakts, B!unt Force, and special guest Samples. Philos Records is a label specializing in “electro-soul”, a blanket term for a brand of electronic music rich with soul, funk, blues, and hip-hop elements that blend sampling and production into a beautiful clash of musical eras.
If you’re unfamiliar with plug.dj, its a website like Turntable.fm and Mixify, allowing artists to play live, streaming sets to those who choose to attend. This will be an incredibly unique event, bringing together some of the most-promising producers in the scene. You’ll be sure to catch some great music, great vibes, and meet some great people.
