Industry Stalwart’s Pig&Dan have dropped their latest four-track EP Infinity on Drumcode and it’s a beauty.
This almighty duo has been at the top of the house and techno game for 15+ years now. No strangers to Adam Beyer, their strong relationship with the Drumcode label boss has lead them to release standout EPs and compilation contributions like Mexico, Capsule and “La Bruja.” Now, Pig&Dan make their solo return to Drumcode since 2016 with a perfectly produced EP to make Adam Beyer proud once again.
A solid piece of work, Infinity takes off with the title track’s rave-infused stadium techno delivering a steady, propelling melody crafted to the nines. Following this, “Losing Part of Me” is momentous and hypnotic, while “Terrax” is driven by woozy synth leads that escalate in intensity before an unexpected drop. Finally, the curtain closes with “Plex,” a hard-hitting, warehouse feeler that will keep you moving into the earliest hours of the morning.
