Pigeon Hole, a Canadian duo comprised of Lee Napthine and Colin McCue, dropped a heavy-hitting EP titled Bugs on August 28th.
What started out as an underground hip-hop project in the mid-2000s has transformed into a multi-genre bass music venture with hip-hop flares.
The four-track EP released on Liquid Stranger’s label WAKAAN demonstrates their growth and development as artists. Showcasing creepy crawling bass lines, the EP holds up to its name.
“Skeleton” starts the EP off with an eerie extraterrestrial build up followed by some wobbly bass. The title track “Bugs” is bursting with sci-fi space inspired bass. “Hackles” and “Worldwide” both bring extra layers of unearthly energy to close out Bugs.
