Today marks the 40th anniversary of a timeless treasure in. Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon’ graced the world on this day back in 1973. In celebration, the band is inviting fans to stream the LP directly through their website for the day while also opening the hashtag #DarkSide40 as a platform to share memories, experiences and photos.
With respect to an album that refused to disappear from “album charts” for 15 years in a row, I put together 5 of my favorite modern Pink Floyd remixes. Ranging from Pretty Lights‘ immaculate electrosoul ode to a bootleg which includes a little “Proper Education,” we all sincerely hope you enjoy this nostalgic collection.
Pink Floyd – Time (Pretty Lights Remix)
Pink Floyd – Have A Cigar (Wick-it Remix)
Pink Floyd – Hey You (Luciano Colman & Tevy Cavoti)
Another Brick In the Wall – Koyote Bootleg (Pink Floyd v Eric Prydz v Jason Risk)
Pink Floyd – High Hopes (William Carney Remix)
