Today, the Russian duo known as Pitch Razahs (Anvil Smith and Revolted Child) released their ‘Utopia Highway’ EP, a six-song sampler of some extremely chill electro-hip-hop-soul. ‘Utopia Highway’ is minimal and ambient, taking the listener on a slow yet expansive journey through feelings and soundscapes. The EP features all sorts of noises that you wouldn’t expect to hear, yet are utilized seamlessly into the duo’s style. The two are very respected producers in their own rights, and have been influenced heavily by the likes of DJ Shadow and Pretty Lights, as evident in this release.
