German duo Plastik Funk have had quite the busy year. They’ve released five songs so far and appear to have no intention of slowing down. The European team have been captivating the scene with their funky beats and talented production skills. Their first release, “With You” comes off the Armada Deep label and has been met with great reception since its release. It’s a remix of an Embody track and the vocals are provided by none other than Barnaby. The funky deep track is everything we’d expect from a duo with the name “Plastik Funk”.
Their second track strays away from the usual Funk sound and leans more towards the house realm. With an electro-progressive sound to it, “Love & Affection” is a new direction for the masters of funk. Proving that genres don’t contain them, Plastik Funk have experimented with a new sound and we’re loving it. They’ve been supported by acts like Nicky Romero, Don Diablo, and Martin Garrix. In addition, they’ve been featured at festivals all across Germany. Be sure to give their tracks a listen and keep your eyes on this rising duo, it won’t be long before we hear about them again!
