This week, one of electronic’s most sought-after newcomers Sam Martinse, a.k.a Pluko, will touch down in New York with Cosmo’s Midnight to play the rooftop of Brooklyn’s new hotspot Elsewhere.
Pluko’s rise from his small town of Hollidaysburg, PA and into the depths of the scene has been a result of his original mixes garnering more than 50 million listens on streaming services like SoundCloud. Just last month on the day of Pluko’s high school graduation, the 19-year-old released his CLASS XIX mixtape, which was 100% written, produced, mixed, and mastered by himself via his own new label Splendid Society.
Following this came Pluko’s most recent fan-favorite, his remix of Big Wild’s “Purple Sand.”
